Transferring save game data from Kindle to Android - possible?

Just upgraded my Kindle Fire HD to a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE - I have a couple of games on the Kindle which I've been playing for ages and would like to transfer their data across to the Galaxy Tab (otherwise I need to start the games from the beginning on the Tab). Not sure which data though or how to find it!

The games are:

Fruit Cube Blast

Triple Match 3D

There don't seem to be any options within the games to transfer the data but surely there's a way to do it? There's no login either.

Welcome to Android Central! This kind of thing will have varying success, because it depends on being able to find a data directory that includes the saved game. Look in all of the user-accessible directories on the Fire tablet and see if you can find a directory for those games -- they might be labelled using the game name, but they might also use the developer's name. If you can find one, see if you can find files that look like saved game files. If present, you could copy those files to your Google Drive in the cloud, and then download them to the new tablet, moving them afterwards to the corresponding directory for the games there.

If you're unable to find files like that, then you will probably not be able to transfer saved game info to the new tablet. Games installed from Amazon might be able to save progress to the cloud, but they use a different cloud than the same games installed from the Play Store (i.e., Google Play Games).

Thanks very much, I'll try your suggestions.

You would have thought that Amazon, the game devs, publishers, etc would make this easy, but apparently not ........

That's what cloud saving is for, so they often do make it easy -- but only within an ecosystem. The game dev might benefit from users being able to move saved games around, but the companies that manage the ecosystems would not (whether it's Amazon, Google, Apple, etc.), because that would mean losing the user to another ecosystem. And the devs will almost always be beholden to the ecosystem, if they want any traction with their game sales.

Thanks, tried that - it worked with one game ((Triple Match 3D) but not the other (Fruit Cube Blast) - the latter must be storing files in a location that I can't find perhaps? I found a folder for it in the same data sub folder as the other game but copying that over from the Kindle to the Samsung didn't help (I made a backup of the Samsung original first of course).

It's got me stumped.
