Transferring SMS from EVO4g to EVO3d

Has anyone had any luck transferring their texts from their EVO4g? I had an app called backup to gmail which worked well in evo4g but keeps crashing on the evo3d. The transfer app on the evo3d doesnt have the option to pull text messages from your evo4g.

Theres an app called backup sms and restore. All you do is download the app on you evo 4g, run the app and backup your texts. Then it should save a file/folder on your internal or external sd card. Copy that folder and put it on your evo 3d. Download the app again on your evo 3d, click restore backup and load the texts you just backed up on your evo 4g. Hope that helps

Has anyone found a way to transfer visual voicemails from the EVO4g to EVO3d? Is there a similar tool?
