Transferring upgrade with Amazon

I just ordered the HTC ONE M8 through amazon wireless (it was $150) and since i knew that I could transfer my upgrade with verizon I did not double check if I could do it with Amazon. I've searched around and some people say that its possible to just activate the phone and then transfer it to the line i want it in. There's also others that say that it cannot be done because it violates Amazon's policy. I just wanted to know if you guys have tried transferring an upgrade through amazon and if so how did you guys do it? if not i'll just have to return the phone :/. I'm sorry I don't have an answer to you but I do have the same concern. I want to buy an htc one remix for $.01 on amazon and transfer upgrades, but I am also having trouble finding clarity on how to do this. It's been a few months since your post, have you found any other information?
