Transformer Memory

How much ram does the transformer 16MB version comes with.......... I thought it was 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM but in Applications---Running in the setting menu it is showing 148 used and 434 free that adds up to 582......that's not even close to 1GB am i looking the the wrong place for the memory usage....

+1 I know someone knows the answer to this but maybe the answer is so simple that they don't want to bother with it.

The gpu is utilizing the remaining memory.

I see the same behavior however Motorola Atrix does show full RAM is this something unique to Honeycomb?

Maybe the TF is using its 1gb of ram in SLC mode?
