32 GB model & 32 GB microSD card costs less than the 64 GB model. If you get the dock, you can use the SD slot and/or plug a thumb drive into the USB port.

Yeah, but the way this is designed, the microSD card sticks out quite a bit when it's inserted. Probably not useful to use it that way all the time. If the OP is concerned about needing more than 32GB, then I'd definitely go for the 64GB model.

I was planning on using the internal memory for photos, documents and all the apps, which I imagine will in time get bigger and bigger. I'd like to use my tab for a long while so I figure that way I can keep several MicroSD cards with only movies on them and put them in only when I want to watch movies.

Did I miss an internal memo leaked from Asus stating they knew of delays and told the public otherwise? I'm just tring to figure out how people are convinced that they were lied to.

Delays are to be expected. The only reason Apple has a stock on launch is that they finish a product and sit on it for months before releasing their "hot off the assembly line" product.

So you'd have us believe that Asus knows so little about thier own business that they were not aware that no 64Gb units were shipped.

Asus' statement was that the prime would ship the week of Dec 19th. They actually denied that there were any delays in delivery. To date I have yet to identify that a single Prine with 64Gb has shipped so yes I feel lied to - as I said beforre they told half truths. The 32 Gb units did ship but people like myself who ordered the 64Gb units were kept in the dark.

Either I was lied to or Asus is so incredibly incompetent they do not know what they have made or shipped. I'll bet they know exactly how many units have made and how many they still need to deliver.They have finally admited that shipments of the 64Gb units to the UK will be delayed until 2nd Quarter 2012.
