Transitioning from One M7 to M8

Hello all. I am looking to move transition from my One M7 to a new One M8!

Now I know Google for the most part backs up my contacts. The question is that I have 4 Google accounts on my phone, I will be transferring all over, but I want to know what order to do them in. Ultimately I want the default/main account to be account A. Meaning when saving contacts, it saves to that account. Does any one know what order to add accounts in to maintain this setting?

Also I want to transfer over my saved WiFi credentials. Do I need to backup with an HTC account to do this?

Photo's and music I can do manually (I actually will just backup to my PC & start fresh). Can set them to save to SD Card going forward? Cause that would be most awesome.

Consider using HTC Transfer Tool.

In regards to your Google accounts, I don't think you have to transfer any of them per se. On your new phone, just add the accounts, and their information will be synced to the phone. That's the beauty of Google accounts. Add the account that you want as the primary account first.

Any information regarding how to select the default contact location would be great. Currently when I add a new contact it syncs to account B rather than A.

I think the default one will be the account that you originally log in with when you set up the phone. I'm not sure if there's an easy way to change the default afterwards.

As mentioned above, the default account will be the first one you set up on the device. When it comes to contacts, just save any random contact and choose which Google account to save to and then the process will be automatic afterwards.
