Might be a good question to ask the Dev if something changed on their end (I suspect it's on Moto's end, because that's a pretty deep system item). I haven't yet seen anything that makes it show up in Nova. I used the Google Experience launcher as well and it was black there too. That also makes me think it's something Moto changed and that it's just "launchers".
