Transparent band when viewing FB Reels

I have a horizontal band (see image) that shows up on 75%+ of Facebook Reels at the level of the thumbs-up icon.

This band shows up on TWO devices and does not display on my PC. The devices are Samsung Note 8 and Tab S5e.

[Not in order of attempts] I have disabled, then reinstalled FB, updated everything, cleared the Note 8's main cache, uninstalled a recently installed app, tried different display options, disabled adaptive display, and probably other things.

Sometimes I post political opinions and cures for CV that FB doesn't like (censors), so I get a little restricted ("not recommendable") for a while, including now.

The screen is starting to dim, so I know I probably need to get a new device.
Meanwhile, what puzzles me is that the Tab shows this as well.

I look forward to ANY ideas and suggestions.

What do you mean by "CV"? If it is "curriculum vitae", I doubt it that would be controversial.
Sorry, --they have trained me to self-censor.

Okay - lol - how about this: "I know how to prevent, and cure, co vid" and "here's a link talking about who is really pulling the strings in DC"

Now, about that stripe, band, strip, artifact, anomaly...

(If it was long co vid, I'd know what to do, but this one has me baffled - especially that it shows up on two devices)
