Hello all.
I have this issue. When i go look at my folder for normal email (NOT GMAIL)
I have an exchange account, and I see that there are 3200+ unread email in my trash folder on my D1, how can I delete them all, I am using the native email app. I have also tried emptying the trash folder on my computer and I still can not get them to delete on the phone.

I don't really want to go through and check mark 3200+ messages and delete them.
There has to be a better way of doing this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hmmm... Ooh...

Try clearing the data/cache for Email? It should resync everything BUT what isn't on the server... in theory.

If you lose something, it isn't my fault!!! :P

Do you mean remove the account?
That was my last choice...

What do you mean by clearing cache??

[Settings>>Applications>>Manage Applications]

Cleared data there; it removes the account, though.

same issue. There should be a delete trash check mark in settings but it's not. clearing data in manage apps probably works but it clears the account. Clearing Cache does nothing

I never found a way. The native app has the same problem for POP accounts, which is why I moved to K-9 Mail.
