Don't know why it wouldn't. I was in France for a few weeks in July and I used a Truphone SIM in mine. Truphone is a global SIM that uses multiple networks. I use it in my watch, LG urbane 2nd edition, when I'm home in the U.S. but switched it to the ZenFone 2 when I was in France. I believe I was mostly connected to SFR but occasionally connected to Orange while I was there. Will be in France in a month.
Can anyone confirm picking up a sim from say Orange will work fine with our Zenfone 2?
I assume the charger is universal.

Yeah I wouldn't necessarily recommend Truphone for France if you are going to use the phone a lot. I used it as an emergency phone while in France. I have it for my LG watch mainly when I leave my phone behind to track my runs.. It's only 9 cents per minute/text/MB with incoming calls/texts free in the US. Only costs me a few dollars a month to have a phone capabilities, without carrying my 5.5 inch phone, while I run a few times a week. I just mentioned it because I know it successfully used the SFR and Orange networks while I was there so I don't think you would have problems using one of their SIMs.Thanks for the info.
Your truphone intrigued me so I looked up and read about it. Seems pretty expensive.

Maybe I am reading it wrong but it would seem data is about 12 euros per 100mb
Orange has a 14 day plan for about 40 euros which gives 1gb data, 120 minutes and 1000 texts. (was 2gb a month ago I believe)

Orange plan would seem the way to go if you are just in Europe, Truphone could be better I guess if traveling to other countries.
Thanks for the additional info.
I believe I saw SFR had a plan that would work for me for 35. EUR

Does SFR have good coverage?
Yeah it's probably from earlier in the year. Thanks for the link. I saw that earlier but didn't read it fully. Now I see there is some good info in there for Orange. Just not sure how current that wiki is. A month seems like a major time in the telcom market re what is offered
