Tried the EVO, went back to BB

The ten bucks is not for 4g data its for unlimited data no cap.......fyi thats a misconception

wow we have a lemming here. Yeah its for a "richer data experience" aka 4g. 3g is no richer on an evo then it was on my touch pro 2 and when I check my data usage I've used about half the data I used with my touch pro 2 which I thought was kind of odd.

It's not for everyone, thank god we live in 2010 and have such a wide range of great devices to choose from. I say one thing about BB they always work and get the job done.

I kinda miss my BB some days even though the Evo is pretty bad@$$
The BB just worked. Always worked and never stopped working. Never got slow, never not pushed content. Just worked.

There have been times where I miss my BB. Coming from a Storm the touchscreen wasn't really a learning curve to me but the web browser on BB is just horrible. Hopefully RIM will get a hint and start making more powerful phones.

yea the web browsing sucked balls. Having the mouse for browsing made it worse. I got sooo tired of 50 finger scrolls to get to the bottom of a page.
I hated the mouse performance too. if the hint of dust got in that thing you had to press it hard and tinker to get it to go the direction you wanted again

I don't think the Evo and the Blackberry should be interchanged for one another.

Not saying one is significantly better than the other or anything, just that they're different.

It's like comparing an SUV to a convertible. The convertible is fun to drive around in, but sucks if you always need to move large things. The SUV is good for moving things, but not so fun for an ocean drive.

Same concept goes for the Evo and BB. They both do certain things extremely well but are not interchangeable. Much the way the convertible and SUV are both automobiles, the Evo and BB are both cell phones but are specialized for different purposes.

Thanks for clearing that up i keep telling them the is a cap....5gb but nooo they say i was wrong...trust me i know what im talking about....

No, you don't. I know people who regularly and for years have gone over the 5g data cap and their still with Sprint with no problems./

I am continually amazed at how many people don't use Gmail. If you have to have a non-gmail account, then you can forward all the mail to a gmail account and set it up to send mail as that account. It's not hard and will get your mail to you pretty darn quick. Gmail integration is fantastic on Android phones.

Oh yeah, welcome back.

I've had the same POP account for 8 years so it's a bit hard to fully switch over. I also have a gmail account, and I have my POP account integrated, but it just seemed to take a while to get my emails.

Did you read the posting from 2008 on gizmodo about how sprint is imposing the 5gb data cap i never said anything about ppl having a problem im just saying that there is a cap on the 3g data that sprint has the right to impose. How is everything im saying getting misconstrued???

Meh who cares anymore as long as i have my beloved evo im happys whats a extra $10 for a data hungry beast that sits in my pants lol i really dont care bro!
