Trim video without changing timestamp

Is that possible with any app? Been looking for this a lot and I find it very strange that it is this hard to find. New file is ok as long as it has same date than old one (otherwise it is not in correct order in gallery). Feature I used a lot with iPhone. Other than that I prefer android though...

I think the problem is that the Gallery is taking the date the file is created to sort them, not the 'date taken', but might be wrong. If that's the case, all apps will have this issue. You can try using a different Gallery app or see if Samsung's video editor doesn't change the file timestamp, but I doubt it...
