Trojan on my sd card

Yeah you read right, my SD card was corrupted so my friend rudy who is a fellow easy tech employee at staples suggested scanning my SD card with malwarebytes and he said you might have a virus wont hurt scanning. Trojan.Downloader..WHAT THE F!! So i removed it and i'm just honestly completely shocked

The file might be there. Downloaded from a rogue website or possibly passed when you connected you phone to your computer, but I seriously doubt it would run or do anything bad on your phone. Especially since it was found on a Windows OS tool and Android is definitely not Windows.

BTW, MalwareBytes is a great tool.

If you want good apps for your thumb drive take a took at PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives . They have everything from anti-virus, malware, browsers, games, utilities, etc. Great for the on the go person.

Pretty sure I know about that being an easy tech and all hahah just kidding my flash drive must have like 50 programs on it got alotta staples corporate software. One of the biggest one is the Norton tech toolkit, my flash drive is pretty sweet fast transfer rate and steel frame with keychain haha

Not sure if I would brag about that lol. Kind of sounds like one of the kids from the Geek Squad, not a dig at you but I've fixed a lot of things that the 'Geek Squad' has touched. IT guys hate them.....family calling oh I took it to Best B........phone hangs up. lol.

On a side note I wasn't aware of Staples having a 'fix it' group. Is that at every store of just certain ones?

Yeah man easy tech we aim not to rip you off and charge a butt load of money. The one I work at is shra Lanka top of the line work shop. We don't ship stuff out all in store repair its sweet.

Sounds good. Geek Squad has gave the in store fix it guys a bad wrap, they are such a rip off. Sounds cool.
