Trouble deciding.

I would love to get the Nexus 6 on Verizon but they only sell the 32gb version and I'm worried that I will fill up the storage in no time. Between my downloaded music and pictures and videos that I currently shoot on my iPhone 5s 32gb for my YouTube channel, it won't take very long.

Is it possible to add an otg micro sd card adapter and record to the card while shooting? Or do you have to store videos internally and then transfer them?

This is really the only thing holding me back from getting this phone.

OTG storage is nice.
How about the Cloud for your music?

Mav.

I bought a 64 Gig from Google. When I went to Verizon to get a Sim they said I could have special ordered the 64 Gig version from them.

I will definitely try that in a few weeks when I go to upgrade my phone. If not, then I'm probably getting the G4. I keep going back and forth on the G4, Nexus 6 and the S6.

I'm speaking with VZW Support on Twitter and they are giving me the run around. Saying we're not showing that it's available. My best bet would be to either call them or go into a store and maybe I'll get lucky talking to the right person.

Just spoke with someone on the phone. And just like I expected. Not available in the 64gb from verizon.

Maybe I'll get lucky in a store. But not holding my breath.

Oh and the lady tried to sell me Galaxy S6.

Why not upload your music to Google Music? Then you can stream it from your phone or any net connected device. You can save a lot of room by doing that.

I just spoke with someone from Best Buy about getting an unlocked Nexus 6 64gb and getting verizon edge payments. She actually told me that the unlocked Nexus 6 only works on ATT and T-Mobile. It won't work on Verizon or any other CDMA carrier. I had to correct her. I told her that I could buy the very same phone from Google and pop in a verizon sim and it would work.

She never did answer my question about Verizon edge payments on it. I figured it wasn't worth pursuing an answer about that.

Why do I get the incompetent support people who know nothing about the phones that they are supposedly trying to sell?

This happen everywere. But I was in the same boat. To buy 64Gb Nexus 6 or 32Gb version. I know I love to listening music, watching videos etc. And it is nice if you know you shouldn't worry about it. And I bough Nexus 6 64Gb version.

My problem is waiting. I can upgrade on early edge without paying anything up front. Or I can wait till I pay off my device in April 2016 and sell my phone and put that money towards an unlocked verizon phone of my choice. Within reason.

I've heard of people having to jump through hoops to get verizon to properly activate the unlocked Nexus 6 and receive their BYOD discount. Or any other unlocked phone that's supposed to work on Verizon. They have to approve the phone first before they'll give you a discount. Sure, if the phone supports the cdma bands on Verizon, theoretically you should be able to just insert an activated sim and you're good to go.

The advantages of upgrading now is that I can essentially get a phone on edge for free because I get $25 off my line plus I receive a 15% govt employee discount being on verizon.

I just don't have the money to buy from anyone else than Verizon.
