Trouble installing newest VZW update

Greetings everyone,
My Revolution is running Android 2.3.4 with the Gingervolt 1.3 ROM. The phone just downloaded an update from Verizon (appears to be from ZV7 to ZV8), but it when it reboots to do the install, it just comes up to the CWM Recovery menu (which, of course, I had to install in order to do the Gingervolt installation). So basically, I can't update the phone. I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm not an expert; I just followed good instructions to get Gingervolt on my phone in the first place.

Any ideas, suggestions, etc.? I appreciate any help!

Never mind, I was a bit quick to post. I did some more research and found that the Verizon updates won't install if you have the Clockwork Mod installed. Also, apparently, you lose root after the ZV8 update, and there isn't a new Gingervolt ROM out yet, so I'm sticking with what I have. Now, I'm just trying to update my Gingervolt from 1.3 to 2.0. It appears to succeed, but when the phone boots, it still shows that it's on 1.3... weird.
