Trouble with 360 controller (wired)

Could be your otg USB cable that's the issue. It was plug and play for me

When I plug it in, I get the green light showing the controller connected as number 1, but I don't see it in the settings under input and keyboards, and it won't respond when I open shadow gun or dead trigger. I am stumped.
