Android Central Question

My two main apps for work, DJI Fly and Palm-Tech Inspector wont share pictures with my S21ultra gallery. Why??? Last software update April 6, 2022 G998USQS5CVCB

i use DJI OSMO4 to take videos and pictures all the time and it shows the DJI folder as well as in the Picture tab of Gallery.
:/
might be Gallery app's issue or it might be something else...
first check if Gallery is updated.
then cache clear the Gallery and the DJI app (don't data clear, I'm not 100% sure and I don't want to suggest and risk information being dumped out when i'm not 100% sure it doesn't affect the pictures/videos).

you can also reproduce the issue (take a quick video from DJI device and check that DJI doesn't show in gallery), then report to samsung
Samsung Members app > get help > Error report.

Did you deny any app permissions when setting up them up?
Also look to see if permissions have changed since last update. DJI sincs to both on my Pixel6 and my wife's A71.

Re: My DJI drone app and my Palm-Tech inspection app no longer saves photos to Gallery after last up

Welcome to Android Central! Remember that photos aren't saved to the gallery app -- the gallery app simply scans for images saved to the phone's storage and displays them. It may be that it's not seeing those images because of something like a .nomedia app in that app's data directory (which instructs the system to ignore that directory when scanning for images to display in the gallery).

Using a file manager app, look through the various directories and see if you can find one associated with DJI. If you can find a directory with those images, see if there's a file called ".nomedia" -- if so, then delete it, and see if the images appear in the gallery app now.
