Trouble with Samsung Fascinate HELP?

Sooooo Hello All!
VERY new to android, smart phone, and issues are quickly getting old! I am not sure which is not computing well, my Fascinate or myself? Getting mixed emotions with all the different feedback that i am seeing. Is this a great phone or a POS?

great phone seriously, very adaptable, un brickable, uber customizable...the only issue ive ever had that i did not create myself was how plastic the body of the phone feels, it feels like a toy compared to the iphone, but out preforms the iphone
