Trouble with V9 to VD update

I currently have the V9 baseband on my device and I want to step up to VD, but I have one stumbling block. All the current methods require a Windows Computer, and I currently use a Linux Machine. I have no easy access to a Windows Machine or Windows Disc of any sort, nor do I have the time or need to install another OS to perform a singular update. My question is, is it at all possible to go from V9 to VD without Windows?
