trusted places not working

Trusted places in security does not seem to be working. When I hit the power button it still requires me to put in my password, or fingerprint . yes, I have my phone set up as a trusted place

Still not working, and I'm sitting right in the middle of my living room, and Google Maps shows my phone at my home address. I hit the power button after it times out, and when I swipe to open the screen it brings up the PIN password scream

I've had this issue for a long time. I was using Nova Launcher. I like it best as a launcher but it messes up the trusted places so that it doesn't always work. I switched to Google Now Launcher and trusted places works without a hitch. My hunch is that other launchers will do similar things. Also, after four hours of inactivity it seems to require a password again as someone mentioned. But, there you go. That might be the reason for many of you.

None of the those features have worked consistently for me.

I had an issue with mine last week. After a restart it worked again.

I had that same issue so I dropped a pin at my home as well, basically doubling up on my home location and now it works no problem.
