I'm coming from a Galaxy Note 8 and I had it setup to use my voice to unlock and issue a command. For example, "okay Google, text..." or "okay google, navigate home." As long as it clearly heard me, it could unlock the phone and execute the command. I'm having trouble setting my pixel 3xl up that way. I can use the assistant to ask things and she will respond, however when attempting to navigate, text, etc., it says my phone needs to be unlocked first. I have the three boxed checked under "voice match" within Smart Lock.

Any ideas?

It's a little wonky on the 2xl as well. If i say "ok Google, call my mom," sometimes it says "i can't do that while the device is locked," but then proceed to place the call anyways. It's been hit or miss in my experience.

I can confirm my pixel 2 xl still has the option on pie but not my pix 3 xl .
