Truth about Gorilla Glass!

I must admit people who do the most common drops must be idiots like exiting a car... really? yes i will run over my phone with a car..
I left my palm pilot on the roof of my car years ago. I drove about a mile and I saw it fly off the roof. I pulled over on the freeway and ran back for it. It was in a leather case and worked perfectly.

Last time I was soooooo stupid.

After some extra searches I'm lead to believe that Apple does use Corning's glassware, I assume Gorilla Glass.

I had a few Palm Pilots. Great devices when they worked. I hated Palm support, though, and was sad to hear HP bought them as I was praying for a crash and burn for the company. If the device failed those f#$%^#$ would charge nearly the price of a new device for a refurbished one and a refurbished one was very likely to fail. Their support was like Omnipoint's, many moons before they became T-Mobile.

Yeah I think that last one was just for fun Fairclough lol. The only time i've dropped my phone is putting it into my pocket and missing and dropping it while use. Pretty common but hey, that's why i have a case.

Agreed to the missing the pocket but... falling off you lap while standing up is silly. Hey if i had enough test screens i would do stupid stuff too.

So this video is the truth about Gorilla Glass, using tests of screen protectors that are not actually Gorilla Glass?

+1 for having some Consumer Reports quality tests out there for these things, not this home science kit crap.

You are basing everything off of things on paper, not actual usage... I'd rather have a home use analysis than some consumer reports. If you saw the video about the gorilla glass made by corning you would think HOLY IT CAN'T BREAK OR SCRATCH. But it does

Did anyone else find this excruciating to watch in places?

Thanks for noticing, not sure why xda hired her and allow her to continue. Seriously she is the most annoying reviewer I've ever seen. Unfortunately she is given all the major detailed tasks of reviewing in depth phone review, its v v v v verrrrryyyy difficult to watch through any of her videos, I ended up skipping always just to get a few details about a phone she would review. She really tries very very hard to be fun and cool and it just doesn't work. The best reviewers blend in humor naturally, she just tries too hard and adds a silly attempt at humor at every friggin sentence.

This video about gorilla glass i shutdown after 30 seconds, although I really want to learn about its scratch resistance. Seriously annoying wow just wow.
