Video part is true, you can view 3d in portrait but it won't enlarge like in landscape..it stays pretty small. And I just charged mine up so I will get back to you on battery life

Yes the video part is true. And without a doubt the battery life is better, It's better and i haven't even optimized my phone yet. It will be great if I turn off auto sync and radios that aren't being used. But honestly I don't really need to.
