Trying to install Android 7.0

[Android Central Question]

I am using Odin 3.12.7 to install Android 7.0 onto a Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 SM-A520F, but it keeps on saying FAIL

My Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016, comes from the store with OS Android Nougat 7 and internal storage total space of 16 GB. However, I only have 4 GB free space in internal memory. Does this means that the operating system Nougat 7 occupied 12 gb ? I did not install anything in the memory, and I don't I have media files, pictures, videos, music, or documents.
