Trying to install tasker beta

what does it say when you click install.

to make it clear you have to open it using file manager or from download section if downloaded directly to device.

unknown source in security has to be checked. when you start install. next button will show up with all permission and finally when the end is reached install button will showup.

I installed it on my nexus 4 with no issues.

I made sure that unknown sources was checked. And nothing happens when I tap the install button. though I can cancel it just fine.

ha, i get it. you are installing the wrong version are you installing "Direct 4.0b8" ??

you should install "Direct 4.0b8" and not the playstore version. the playstore version is for people who already bought the tasker app and need to test it

try a reboot and install again. after you click 2-3 next button "Install" appears right and then when you click install nothing happens?

weird. works fine on my nexus 4 and 10. reboot and try again.

just to confirm. the next button has to be pressed 2-3 times for install to appear.

also, try this scroll the privacy section untill it reached bottom then install will appear.

Just rebooted and neither clicking next nor scrolling to the bottom and clicking install, even more than 5 times, does not work.

Any update to this ? I am also having the same issue where I can't hit the install button it just does not do anything. I am trying to install the avast anti theft app that is downloaded and installed from another source. Will be calling Google about this tomorrow . Also my device is a nexus 4

You are likely using a screen filter app, take it off, then install will work
