trying to root my spectrum but driver errors

Trying to root my LG Spectrum with Windows 7 but the LG drivers will not install successfully. I've restarted and everything. Nothing will work. Ideas?

I tried three different versions of LG's USB drivers before I found one that worked for me. I'm not at home, so I can't send them to you. But just PM me and when I'm home in the morning I can send you the one that worked for me.

Also, are you sure you're putting your phone in the correct USB debugging mode? As I recall, it needs to be in "Internet" mode.

lite is correct. Make sure debugging is on. And also that usb connection is set to internet and ethernet. If ethernet isn't working then try modem. The directions say to use ethernet but some people have reported that they had to use modem to get it to work. I've used the all in one package I think 6 times to root my spectrum and my cousins. It works well but you must make sure you follow the steps exactly.

Here's my suggestion: Unhook your phone from the pc

reboot the pc

go to your phone settings and make sure you have debugging on and connection set to internet/ethernet

once your pc is back on the desktop start the Root&RecoveryAIO and then plug your phone into the pc

once the phone is detected choose option 1

After thats done then run option 2

If this process is not working for you then you are messing up somewhere because the allinonepackage has everything you need to root and install recovery. I have used it 6 times on 2 different spectrums and know that it works

Wondering if you or anyone has still has the drivers. I am having the same exact problems and results as the OP. I dont know if it matters but I am on 2.3.6

OMG thank you so much. I have been stuck for almost a week now. I think I already downloaded those drivers but I dont know why it worked this time. this time my spyware terminator kicked in and asked to allow access so maybe that was the problem all my anti virus/ spyware programs were blocking it
