TSM Pool Party WiFi Error

Anytime I try to start up WiFi (either from the notification bar icon or from Setting) it says "Error".

Anyone know why and or how to fix it?

Ok... I just found that there is an issue with the kernel and the only known fix is to flash another JT kernel.

This is the one that was suggested and I am installing it now. 0912 JT Kernel

Hey sushi, now that you flashed that kernel, what does it say for kernel version under about phone? I thought jt's 0912 kernel was included in Pool Party v 1.4. Let me know what it says for your kernel version so I can compare with what mine says. If they're not the same I'm going to flash the 0912 kernel. Thanks.

Landshark, Just loaded up Pool Party 1.4 and I get the wifi error..

I also noted that that the kernel link in the previous post is DOA.. Try this link 9/12 Update.

Loaded up the 9/12 kernel and it wifi is up and working fine.

I also reviewed some other posts and it appears that Glitch will help with this issue also - > Link

Amazing that the same thing happened to me....I got it fixed though.....this is what I did, I flashed Lippos ultimate kernel cleaning script right after I .
Flashed the ROM, then I flashed Glitch right over that
Wifi came right on-,,, try it

What is the ver on the stock PP rom? I only flashed this so I could get WiFi working.

That's what mine reads g439608d, and all I did was flash the ROM. According to the Pool Party OP, the ROM includes jt's 0912 kernel. I also get the wifi error. Wonder why that is. I will try flashing the kernel Jaekar linked later this week when I have time and see what happens.

Weird - the 0912 kernel has exactly the same designation: g439608d..

I am hoping to try a Glitch kernel sometime this week and will hopefully report back good news.

Good news - Updated: Pool Party 1.4.1 - Patch or Full ROM

-fixed wifi error without reloading kernel
-fixed honeycomb lockscreen formatting with weather/info
