I had a hard time finding the correct tun.ko file even for the stock kernel 2.6.32.21-gb05544a. After searching numerous sites and trying every single tun.ko, I finally found one that worked. But when I upgraded to the newer HTC rom and the 2.6.32.21-g0606a3a kernel, I was not able to make the same file work. I ended up flashing one of many custom roms and kernels available as my way of fixing the problem.

I'm glad the module worked for those it did and sorry for those it didn't. I have not run a stock kernel or rom since soon after the original kernel source was released so I haven't looked at this thread in a while. For those needing the tun.ko module now after all the update(s) I would suggest moving to modded kernel that supports tun natively. I have two Great Dane puppies and work to keep me busy so I have no time to try and keep up with the HTC official releases. Good luck fellow TB vpn users!

I searched all over the internet for a tu.ko file that is compiled for kernel 2.6.35.10-g89eb00a and have no luck. Any help will be much appreciated!

I've got some free time to compile that for you but I'll need the stock kernel's .config :
