Verizon Turbo 2 Nougat update killed my phone! Battery is burning up and drains in a few hours, memory chokes and phone runs in slow motion, apps keep crashing and calls hesitate to answer. What have they done to my Turbo 2???

Sounds like a factory reset is needed.

Like Ry said a factory reset will fix you up. I know it's a pain, but Android seems to require a factory reset for pretty much any sizable changes.

I purposely keep my phone lean and close to stock to make factory resets as easy as possible. I don't like it but it is what it is 😕

For the record, I haven't had to do a factory reset after OS updates.

My upgrade was terrible it effected my performance and battery. They sent me a new phone which fixed the performance problem but not the battery. Battery saver fixed the battery problem and taking a hint from that I was able to fix my battery problem. I have had the same gmail account for years and as a result get 100 emails a day. Adding in my other accounts and work you're at 200 emails. Turning off automatic updates of the email - so its not updating if the phone sits for two hours, has given me more than a day of battery on the Turbo 2.

I wish there was an ability to just have it check when I grab the phone to use it.
