Turbo 2 or Moto Z Play

Looking for some opinions please. I've had the origins Turbo for almost two years and it's been the best phone I've had. My upgrade date is coming and I'm looking at both the Turbo 2 and Z Play since they are now the same price ($99 on contract). My wife just got the Z Play a month or so ago and loves it but she's not a power user like me. I set the phone up for her and it seemed pretty nice but maybe doesn't feel as well built as my Turbo.

So do I get a more powerful year old phone or a new model with maybe a little better future compatibility?

If battery life is your primary concern, definitely Z Play. If you want a durable phone that can withstand drops, then the Turbo 2.
