Turn notifications off on lock screen

Seems like i am not spending anytime on my lock screen. is there a way to turn off all notifications on the lock screen in one step without going into each app one by one.

Go to settings, lock screen and security, and then click the sliding bar by notifications. That'll turn them all off.

Yes, it only turns them off for the lock screen.

it also turns them off for the AOD so instead of turning them off i just changed it to hide content and just show the icons only

Absolutely, considering I always only just use AOD, and that's it.
