Android Central Question
I turn on "Do Not Disturb" mode at work so my phone isn't going off all the time. I'm wondering if there's a way to get rid of the notification in the notification swipe down menu.
I have tried to long press on it and go to "details", it then brings me to system UI, there's no specific "Do Not Disturb" option there. I've tried turning all the settings there but no luck getting rid of the swipe down message. I managed to get it to not show on the lock screen at least.
Only thing I've found that works is to "snooze" it for a maximum of 2 hours. This makes both the notification swipe down go away, but it also makes the notification bar icon go away, and that's useful to tell if I have it turned on/off.
I am running Android Pie on Galaxy S9+.
Thanks!
