Turn off one calendar notification but not another

I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on T-Mobile and am using the stock Calendar app. I have two calendars mapped into it: one for work and one for personal. I want to receive notifications of meetings and events from my work calendar but not my personal calendar. I can't seem to find a way to turn notifications off by calendar instead of at the app level. Any ideas? Or is there a better calendar app that can do this? Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forums. I'm not sure if there is a way to do this. You may need to get an additional calendar app. That way you can kill notifications as a whole on one and keep the other intact.

I don't use the stock app, but doesn't it let you set notifications per event? Just don't set notifications for those events you don't want to be notified about. I use the Google Calendar app because I like the UI and widget (all my calendars were already Google calendars) and it allows you to have default notification settings per calendar, so you wouldn't even need to double-check the settings as long as you put the events in the correct calendar.
