Turn on "hey google": This setting cant be managed by a child user

[Android Central Question]

Hi team, Just bought my son his first chromebook for school, all setup and running well managed by family link. My son told me that hey google had stopped responding, so as part of trouble shooting i turned the feature off from within his logon on his chromebook. now when i go to turn it back on "this setting cant be changed by a child user" but no option to elevate or ping request through to family link app.... so cant turn it back on again and cant find any way to do it for him in family link app. this is his new school device so not keen to unmanage it or set it up from scratch again if avoidable. almost seems like a scenario hat hasnt been catered for? any help appreciated, obviously i have googled it significantly but cant find any solution. cheers Peter
