turn s5 off at night or leave on?

Wondering if it is best to turn off at night or leave s5 on?
I have a land line, so don't need it at night.
and does charging stop when charged? I see some leave there s5 plugged in charging all night.

I leave my phone on 24/7, while charging at night I do however turn the ringer off.

I leave mine on 24/7 and I do have what is called "Blocking Mode" it is a DND feature. If your phone rings, you won't hear it. Screen will not light up.

When the battery is fully charged, charging stops, there is a chip that prevents lithium ion batteries from overcharging.
