turning off background data

i used to be able to turn off background data while leaving autosync on but after i did a factory reset, i can't do that any more. if i turn off background data, then autosync gets turned off. anyone have a fix for this? or is this normal and something was just off the first time around?

How can you auto sync if background data is turned off?

idk.. but i honestly was able to do that. i guess that was a hiccup and its working normally as it is supposed to now after the factory reset

i would say so. if you turn off background data you can't auto sync
