Turning off special effects?

Hi All,

I was wondering if there were a way to turn off the transition effects, ie: fade effect when unlocking? Or any screen transition effects? This really slows down the performance.

Settings > Developer options > Window/Transition animation scale > Animation is off

I like to use it at .5, though.
