Turning off "swipe to unlock"

Is it possible to turn off the default unlock bar when the Unlock Pattern security is enabled? (seems redundant to have both)

Totally agree. I've been looking for a way to do the same thing. I haven't had luck so far.

I have read on here that there is an app called "NoLock" that does that.

Yes "NoLock" does this pretty well. When your screen goes black, all you have to do is hit volume control or power button, and it also bypasses the weather animation.

"NoLock" does work for disabling lock completely, but it disables pattern lock as well. I want just pattern lock, without swipe lock. LOCK! lol

Yeah that whole 1/10th of a second it takes to swipe down first is a biotch huh?
