TV output through MHL adapter

Good afternoon, ladies and gents. I have used the MHL adapter to display just about everything on the phone. Unfortunately, when I play videos from the Media Hub, they will not play on the TV. I keep getting a message that says:

tv-out not supported while application running. Phone display only.

I don't get this message when I run anything else. Does anyone have the same issue or am I doing something wrong?
