Twilight Replacement

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 with Marshmallow on it. I have Twilight, which is an app that changes the color temperature at night, to avoid the blue light issue.

It works well, except for one really annoying issue. Almost every time I need to change settings in an app, I get a message that there is a problem that a screen overlay has been detected, and I have to basically disable Twilight in order to make the changes I need to make. Then I have to go back to Twilight to re-enable it. It's a pain. Does anyone have a way to fix this problem? More likely - does anyone have a good replacement that doesn't do this?

It's not that complicated, pull down the quick settings menu and pause twilight. Do your thing and repeat the process once you're done...
I'll watch this post with interest to see if other apps also cause the screen overlay glitch. Given what they do, I'd be surprised :-)

I have the same problem with glovebox on my lg v10. It's a marsmallow thing, not an oem issue.

Sure, it's not complicated. But it's a pain, and it's easy to forget to turn it back on if you're busy.

There is no workaround.
This issue is a security issue. Any app that places itself on top of everything else has the ability to lie to you about what the bottom app is doing and steal data from you.
Now, Twilight is not doing bad things. But the OS and the apps under Twilight don't know that.
