I have been having issues with my infuse where the media would stop working through out the day and i would have to turn the phone on and off and then everything would be good for awhile. The issue seems to be the official twitter app, if you have this app and are having media issues delete it and see if that works... I am going on about a day and half with no issues...and normally i would have had to restart my phone twice already.

Good Info. But how have you determined that the Twitter app is causing that to happen?

Seems like an odd app to cause issues with media but please keep post updated as I also have the issue with media stopping.

btuna

btuna, in another thread figured it out....and yes it would appear that I went through three different Infuses because of the twitter app......on the plus side though....I got three different Samsung media credits to use!! Thanks Samsung

Well I just deleted the official twitter app to see if it does fix issue. This didn't happen daily for me so it may take a few days to see for sure. I use launcher pro twitter widget anyways so it's not a big deal to delete this for me.

Hmm. So Im going to assume that every user that has that issue has the official Twitter app installed right?

Thats a good question

That is a good question, I have been going on two days now no issues and I installed that twitdroid app and it seems to be doing the trick....

It really seems like twitter (the official App) was causing the media issues with my phone......its perfect now

Hmm. So would that be samsungs fault or twitters? I would asume samsungs.

I have to agree

...why does this twitter app work with other phones but not Samsung.....I'm going with its Samsungs fault........still no issues with my infuse.....safe to say it was the twitter app...

Still works

3rd day with no issues..... if your music and videos stop working and you have to restart the phone to get them to work ..... delete the official twitter app!

Yeah this might be an issue with Samsung and its permissions. I already knew there was an issue with Samsung when I first got the phone and certain widgets from programs wouldnt display after I rebooted the phone. Then I would move it from the external SD card to Internal Storage and it still wouldnt display them. Thats definitely a Samsung issue. Never had that problem on any of my other Androids.

This is the first time that I have had an issue with Samsung..... still love the products that they make ...just disapointed that this has not been fixed yet....

Terrigno, I'm curious. I'm about tho give the Infuse another try and was wondering what widgets don't work?

Thanks!

The official twiter app also caused my phone to become slightly unresponsive and even caused the phone to reboot randomly... The way I know this is I never had any problems before but after installing the app the problems started... uninstalled and all was good... Go figure

Dang Twitter!!!!! ........I can now say the infuse is awesome!!!!! now that may HUGE media phone plays media all the time..... its the best!!

So far so good since deleting twitter app. I did have to reboot for other reasons this morning though.
