Twitter App not working

It just stopped working. It says check connection, there should be tweets.

It works on my other devices. Just this phone. Uninstalled then installed several times.

Same here. Multiple uninstalls and reinstalls later I had to download talon to continue use.

I am having the exact same problem. Even took phone to store & had AT&T sales/tech guy try to get twitter working on V30 to no avail. I hate the website twitter as I can't change site to dark mode for my eyes.

So now I use my G6 for twitter & V30 for all else. Would love to just use V30. Funny that the twitter app was working when I got the V30 on 10-14 but stopped working after an operating system update.

This really bugs me.

Which update was this?
My ATT LG V30 was activated on 10/13 with android 7.1.2.
Twitter 7.22.0 is working fine for me.

I also got the V30 with android 7.1.2 The AT&T guy confirmed that there was an update on 10-15 when I actually activated the phone on the network. It was some kind of security update.
Anyway, I can't get twitter to work on it since then. Get the same message as what the OP posted.
My G6 still is on 7.0 and I intend to keep it on that because twitter works great on that phone. I don't do any other social app except twitter so it's pretty important to me.
I love the V30 because of the screen & the colors & the control of the screen resolution etc etc. This is important to me because I have eyesight problems.

Well, I backed up everything on the phone & the SD card & did a total factory reset. When I reactivated the V30, I made sure not to do that update. The operating system was still 7.1.2 but did not have that update that messed everything up. So now, I have my twitter on the phone & all is good for now. Made sure that nothing updates without permission & hopefully all will be good. Even though I had stuff backed up, it still was a hassle to get everything just right again.

I was afraid of that, but the phone is fresh and that's the best time to reset. And it fixed broken Twitter App.
