I went from Froyo back to DI01 and then updated to EA28 and now I have two charging Icons when I plug in my phone when it?s dead.

Have you tried to do a master data reset and flash EA28 again?

Also, don't run your battery down until your phone is dead. That is the worst thing you can do to the Li Ion battery in our phone. How many times have you run your phone down to dead before charging? If it has happened more than a few times you may have done serious permanent damage and will need to buy a new battery.
