I have the following 2 issues with my EVO

(1) While on the charger the screen does not lock. If it is locked before I put it on the charger, it stays that way. However if the screen is not locked when I put it on the charger it will never lock.

(2) I have the plantronics voyager pro bluetooth headset. It works well when I make a call. However i have noticed that sometimes when i receive a call it does not work. I go to the bluetooth settings and it says paired and connected. I have to disconnect and reconnect to get it to work.

Anyone else experience these issues?

For 1 check in the settings,

Applications>development

Make sure all those boxes are unchecked. I am assuming when a rep transferred your contacts they did not uncheck stay awake when they were finished.

Make sure that when you receive a call you answer it from the bluetooth and not the phone. Most devices will default to the phone if you answer it from the phone.

Never noticed #1, but I also have the Plantronics Voyager Pro earpiece and it did the same thing with my previous phone, too. I'd have to disconnect and re-connect, and in the case of the Evo, just navigate to the bluetooth menu and tap on the line item for the earpiece and it reconnects.

I had assumed at this point it was a fault of the earpiece, but it's such a comfortable one I wasn't going to dump it until it broke or something.

Do either of you have any complaints from whoever is on the other end of the call when you are using your voyager pro? No one ever had any problems or could even tell a difference with my voyager and the Pre, but the call quality is apparently terrible for people I talk to with my Evo. However, the calls sound fine on my end and I think the problem may be the wimax radio. I did a test this morning and turned off 4G and the quality went from miserable to crystal clear. This is good news on the one hand, but on the other it kills the whole talk and surf while on 4G feature. Plus it means I have to either never use 4G or turn it off whenever I get a call. Hopefully it is just a software issue or maybe just my phone.

Issue 1 has been resolved. Thanks to you I will be keeping the EVO

I haven't had any complaints of this nature
