I'm glad the note 10 + has so much good Hdw .

It may not be a perfect phone.
But its dauym nice.

If your gonna have it for a yr.

You're probably right...not a HUGE upgrade. I think maybe the ultra wide camera, bigger battery, and 256gb base storage are the biggest things. If you don't need that when why not save some $$$ right?

Exactly. I really did love my note 8 and it’s the 1st phone I owned more than a year except for my LG voyager. But now I’m running a pro max. Don’t eat me wrong I love both OSes but there is just something that keeps calling me. I could easily keep the pro max. Would I be 100% happy?.. no but both phone would get me 95% happy with them.

I feel the iPhone has better cameras, I like iOS dark mode and the battery life is crazy good. 1st phone I’ve never been able to kill in a day but I came close. It’s ticks all but 3 boxes. Value, geeky apps like cell mapper, and spen. It also has some good speakers and I think call quality is very good. It I’ve always felt that the war piece speaker in iPhones were better than most but not crazy better, but noticeable.

I know I sound like an Apple fan boy here but I’m really not. I love both which sucks LOL

Doesn't sound like an Apple fan boy at all. I've said it myself in these forums, I have my eye on the Pixel 4 and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I think both are solid phones.

Nope. I tried it twice and TBH I was probably being a little harsh in judging it. Returned within 24 hours. I traded in my note 8 and felt that it wasn’t a big upgrade. Still unsure though.

I came from note 8 (2 yrs), unlike you I think 10+ is a considerable upgrade. Battery, speakers, display, storage size, UFS 3.0 which is very noticeable for me when opening, closing and updating apps, and cameras (specifically ultra wide). These things make significant impact during day to day usage for me.

Good that you are enjoying your iPhone. I love pixel phones too but secure folder and Spen are deal breakers for me.

I have seriously debating picking up another note. But can’t afford 2 $1100 phones so iPhone would have to go back. Which would suck as everyone in know uses iPhone so iMessage is fairly convenient but before we were just using Facebook messenger for pics. If they are still on sale tomorrow at Best Buy I may very well get one. It’s a tough decision and the difference in price is only $15 a month over 2 years if I keep the phone that long.

If it weren't for the Note I've have a Pro Max as well. Same logic as you for not having both. I just can't bring myself to spend that much money so close together on phones. I actually ordered the 11 (non Pro), but it was backordered for a month. I ended up cancelling that order.

I wish is was that easy but my wife works full time and goes to school full time so I have no way to work extra than I do now. Our youngest is only 5.

Had to go out and hustle all day and nite for yrs.
My wife wanted to go to college.

She quit work and went to college, for 6 yrs.
She is so much happier since she has that piece of paper.

I'm retired.
I cut grass and whatever I can do to hustle some money.
So I can blow it on whatever.
Havent got into my retirement yet.
Wife makes too much money.

Yea hands full. But I can make some extra money and have fun too. I am a storm chaser to an extent. I can actually sale any video I get and make money. Not a lot but some. But the only camera I have is on my phone. My other camera is just a point and shoot DSLR so mostly useless afaik. I don’t thinking it’s capable of doing video.
