Android Central Question

Two white navigation bars have appeared on either side of the screen out of nowhere on my S9 (One UI) ...similar to the edge handle. How does one remove them..I have looked everywhere in the phone for a solution but there seems to nothing that I can find. On swiping the bars seems to function like a back/return button. How do I get rid of them as they are constant on the either sided of the screen.

One of them could be the Edge Panel. I use that on my S9+. Go into Settings>>>Display>>Edge screen and uncheck the edge panels.

The other one could be an app called One Hand Operation+ from the Galaxy Store. The One Hand Operation+ app lets you switch back and forth from two of your apps.

They're OnHandedOperation+. You can turn it off or just uninstall them.
I personally use it for navigation since you can change what each swipe does. I set up mine as 100% transparent (invisible), then:
horizontal swipe = back
horizontal swipe and hold = switch to previous app (like double tap of recents)
diagonal swipe up = recents
diagonal swipe up and hold = menu button emulation
diagnonal swipe down = home
diagnonal swipe down and hold = lock screen (I never even use the power button anymore.)
