Hi

My first post....

Love my Nexus, I think it is a fantastic phone, very happy with it. However I have 2 issues that are really annoying.

First off - The headphone/audio output on the phone seems to be broken. I have beats by dre headphones and unless the device is still, the output is intermittent and I have to have the plug in perfectly positioned, so basically I cant listen to music on the go. It has been like this since I got it out the box and the phone is less than a month old. Should I take it back to the shop?

Secondly, the ringing volume is too LOW!!! I have gone to settings and have the sliding bar up full and vibrate ON but when I recieve a call, if I dont feel the vibrate through my jeans pocket, I never hear it ring and I miss calls all the time. Plus there is no standard RING RING ringtone in the menus, is it just me or is that totally lame? Does anyone know how to get a louder ring so that I can actually hear when a call is incoming.

Any advice/help much appreciated

Chris

In reference to you missing calls because the ring volume is so low..... I downloaded the ZEDGE app and found some ring tones that are louder then the stock ring tones.

If you try a different set of headphones and they behave the same way, I would return the device.

As far as low volume ringing, mine rings plenty loud.
