Why if i send my self a text it converts to mms, and goes to my email?

You must have yourself set up with an email address in your profile, or contacts list,

But wouldnt it still come as a text?
Im not trying to argue i dont understand

I have myself set up as a Contacts List person.

I gave myself the name 'me', wasn't that brilliant?

no phone number, just an email address.

now when I want to send myself something important...... Doctor visit tomorrow ya know, I just send myself a text and it goes to my email inbox.

I check email every morning so the reminder is there.

A text message sent to your phone number only should come back to your Text inbox, not to email.

My S5 will send an MMS back to my text message inbox IF it is sent to my phone number, not to my name.

Several ways, but just press the phone icon and select Contacts Tab
