Two S6 issues: Distorted sound and touch sensitivity

About a week and a half ago my trusty old Motorola Moto x phone died on me and I was forced to get a new phone. My carrier allowed me to choose whatever phone I wanted, so I opted for the S6 because I've always wanted a Galaxy and thought it'd be awesome. And I love it to death. But I am having two issues that are both driving me batty.

The first is this. The sound is sometimes distorted upon playback. It doesn't matter if it's game sounds, YouTube, sound clips, video messages, etc. at times it'll just sound really choppy and stuttery. The video looks fine, the OS doesn't stutter, just the sound. I don't think it did this when I first got it, but I've babied this phone, haven't dropped it, so I'm just not sure what's going on. It is a US Cellular, brand new 32g, with the latest update to G920R4TYU3CPB4.

The second problem is more infuriating. The touch sensitivity is sometimes way off. Half the time it's great and it responds extremely well to my touch. Other times, it is almost completely unresponsive. The keyboard is so tiny even compared to my older (and smaller) phone that the keys are hard to press with accuracy to begin with, and now with this issue, I'm finding texting to take so long that it's not even worth it. I find the sensitivity is especially bad around the edges - when it goes bad. I don't know if maybe an app is causing it to be like this or what. I don't have that much on there right now so doing a factory reset might be in the cards. However I don't know how to do a factory reset and keep all my contacts and things like that.

If you've got any ideas, let me know!

Other possibly useful information:

I do have a glass screen protector on as well as a solid plastic case - both of these went on and it worked just fine for a while.
I am using one of the themes from the theme gallery as my main theme
I'm on US Cellular
I run it on WiFi primarily
I restart it almost every day and only charge it when it needs it

Happy to answer any other questions you might have!

To keep your contacts when factory resetting, you're going to have to sync them to your Google account. To do this go to settings, accounts, Google, your email, and tick whatever you want to sync.

Thank you...I'd really rather not reset if I don't have to...I was hoping others had been having this issue and that it would just straighten out...
