Wondering if anyone can help with this puzzle? I'm not tech smart when it comes to phones.
In my home we have two S6 Edge phones using Verizon. One has reception at home and the other doesn't. This is a new problem,the phones are almost a year old. The one without reception is rose gold, the one with reception is white. Reception is the same with cases on and off. Could it be that the rose gold phone metal case causes worse reception?
We took it Samsung for service twice. First there was a charging issue that required a new battery, the charging port was also changed out. The reception issue started about a week afterwards. Went back to Samsung and the technician recommended a new sim card. Sim card was replaced and the problem persists. I've compared settings and under Status the phone without reception shows a weaker signal. Also, don't know if related, but Mobile Network Type on the phone w/out reception is IWLAN, and on the one with reception it is LTE.
